About Me
I’m Kate, mum to my gorgeous Danny and Amelia.
I grew up in Lincolnshire and moved to Worcestershire in 2003, but still call both home. I love nothing more than catching up with family and friends, old and new.
In 2018, I was made redundant from a fairly demanding job. I knew I didn’t want to return to the sector I’d been working in, but I did want something that would allow flexible working so I could spend more time with Danny and Amelia.
I was introduced to UW, thinking it would be a short-term solution while I worked out what I wanted to do. In fact, I quickly grew to love the ethos of UW and what it allows me to offer people, while giving me the work-life balance I was looking for.
I love mentoring and supporting others to start their own UW business, helping them bring in additional income for their household or business - especially in the current economic climate.
I loved the simplicity of helping people save money and soon realised I wanted to offer the same benefits to businesses. That’s when I also partnered with UAC, as they share the same ethos as UW.
